GENCO custom produced, high performance fragmented projectiles for handloaders. Each GENCO projectile is hand made in custom produced bullet swaging dies using only the highest quality components. A deep cavity insures maximum expansion and avoids over-penetration. The core projectiles are held firmly in the 0.016-inch thick jacket with a compressed shot matrix for better pentration. The 0.050-inch diameter core projectiles insure maximum energy transfer and reduce the ricochet hazard.

GENCO Black Action Proving Dummies are safety training dummies used by police departments and gunsmiths to simulate factory ammunition. They are manufactured using factory brass with the appropriate lead, FMJ, or HP projectile. Dummies are available in any caliber for which commercial brass is available. The listed calibers are kept in inventory. Write for pricing and information on any special requirements.
Shotshells are not plated black. They come with black polypropolene primer and are stamped "DUMMY" on the side. The 12-gauge is a clear case, 20-gauge is yellow, and 28-gauge is red. | |

Genco 17 caliber bullets from left to right: 20 grain ULD-FB, 25 grain ULD-FB, 29 grain ULD-FB, 26 grain ULD-RBT, and 25 grain round nose. "ULD" is Ultra Low Drag, which is a 14-caliber secant ogive with a .014-inch offset from tangent. The RBT base reduces muzzle blast gas laminar flow around the bullet, compared to a conventional boattail base, and blows the muzzle blast gas off in a ring instead of focusing it into a ball. This gives the bullet a clear shot through the "eye" of the turbulence, and reduces the potential group size by about 15% compared to conventional boattail bases. |
